John's Announcement
05:27

[HOOK]
Let me tell you ‘bout him, let me tell you ‘bout him (×8)
[VERSE 1]
The one greater than me
Every day of the week
Matter fact, he made every day of the week
And he used ‘em to make everything that we see
Come on
…..
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)
I know, takes a lot of faith to believe
Sometimes, even I sound crazy to me
But man
…..
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)
I ain't all that, don't overreact
Y’all can relax, I'm just the opening act
This is really his story and he's writing the rest
Thirty years coming, quiet as kept
Everybody, I think it's time you finally met
Yeshua, Christ in the flesh, let me tell you ‘bout him
He was born out in Bethlehem
He was better than the best of them, I'm talking David
Moses, Jacob, Joseph, Elijah
Elisha, the rest of them, ‘cause he never sinned
Quite literally Heaven sent
He put the sun in the sky, make the day shine
Wait, let me slow down, my name's John
Both our moms, they were pregnant at the same time
Story goes I was in the womb, chilling on
Cozy, all on my lonely, Mary came
By and I jumped in my mother's stomach
I don't think it was a coincidence
He's the son of the God of the universe
And I'm only the son of Elizabeth
You don't know what it means to be set apart
'Till you eating on bugs in the wilderness
Sitting, praying: "Father, give me"
"Wisdom, give me patience"
Should've known the artist, all along was
Drawing up an illustration and
I'm just a swipe of the brush
Who else you know make life out of dust?
I could never do enough things right
To be righteous enough
Why me? Could’ve used anyone
Father Abraham had many sons
Why me? I don't hold a candle
Not even worthy to tie up his sandals
They called me Elijah
But he's God, the Messiah
Burn your idols
Or fall to the fire
It's not a game to me
It's not about fame to me, it's 'bout his name to me
Prepare ye the way of the Lord
That's the only aim for me
He came for me
There will be no shame for me
For him to rise I must fall
And I will do so faithfully
[SPOKEN]
This is the word spoken by the Prophet Isaiah, And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. Praise His holy name!
[VERSE 2]
Hold up, nah, let me tell you 'bout him
We was on the bottom, now we on top
Christ is king, we ain't never gon' stop
We ain't never gon'
We ain't never gon' fail
We don't gotta see Hell, we don't gotta be slaves
You can be free, you can be saved
Let me tell you 'bout him
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)
I ain't all that, don't overreact
I'm just the opening act
This is really his story and he's writing the rest
Thirty years coming, quiet as kept
I think it's time you finally met
Yeshua, Christ in the flesh, let me
Hold up
Gather ‘round, gather ‘round
Something good came out of Nazareth town
I don't really care if they laugh at me now
Come see what we all passionate 'bout
So when you pass it around, say
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)
When you walk through the town, say
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)
To your family and friends, say
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)
All the women and men say
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)
To the man on the street, say
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)
Everybody you meet, say
(Let me tell you 'bout him, let me tell you 'bout him)

All I Need
06:13
|
|||
[HOOK]
(You're all I need, oh Lord
You're all I need [×4])
[VERSE 1]
You know me more than I do
All I have, I give to you
Miracles and signs and wonders
I'm the one you did 'em through
Fish and bread, I fed the masses
Forty days, I prayed and fasted
Everything you said, I did
Every test you gave, I passed it
So, humble as I can Father
I’m speaking as a man, Father
I know what it's ‘bout to be
Please, is there another plan father?
We'll lose more than we save, yes
But they need the chance, Father
I love the ninety-nine, but I'll leave ‘em for the one
Not my will, but yours be done
[HOOK]
You're all I need, oh Lord
You're all I need [×2]
Not my will, but yours be done
You're all I need, oh Lord
You're all I need [×2]
[VERSE 2]
Saw this moment from afar
Saw it when we hung the stars, now I'm in it, trying to keep the
Faith so it don't wander off, this is me, your son, oh God
Take this cup away from me, I say this with a humble heart
Hoping that you send a ram, knowing that you sent a lamb
Thinking ‘bout the torture and the metal going through my hand
Thinking ‘bout the punching and the spitting when the people mock me
Thinking ‘bout the lashes that that whip gon’ leave all on my body
Thinking ‘bout the (panicked breathing), oh gosh
Oh wow.....oh God
Thinking ‘bout my mother, I love her
To kiss her, to hug her
My sisters, my brothers
They need me to suffer
My friends, my neighbors
They need me to save ‘em
They need me, they need me
They need me, they need me
I came cause they needed me
(Looks at disciples sleeping) ...so they can sleep in peace
I came so I could go for them
They couldn't watch for me, well, I'll watch over them
There is purpose in this death
There's a purchase in this death
There is worship in this death
There is joy, there is peace, there is courage in this death
When they thirst for something more, I will nourish with this death
When their faith is just a seed, it will flourish with this death
There are students, there are teachers, there are nurses in this death
There are every day, blue collar workers in this death
There are families in this death, there are churches in this death
From the prideful to the ones who feel unworthy in this death
From the wealthy to the poor, from the famous to ignored
All my children, there is every single person in this death
There are chains losing grip, broken curses in this death
There are sins forgiven, overflowing mercy in this death
There is plenty food and water if you're starving in this death
Oh my goodness, [looks around] we're returning to the garden with this death
There's the strength to continue in the fight in this death
In the dark of of the night, there is light in this death
I must go, I must go, pay the price with this death
This is not the end at all, there is life in this death
I know what it's ‘bout to be, but I will accept your plan
We will lose more than we save, but I'm giving them a chance
Yes, I love the ninety-nine, but I'll leave ‘em for the one
Not my will, but yours be done
[HOOK]
You're all I need, oh Lord
You're all I need [×8]
